About the Role
We're seeking a Business Lead to drive our early-stage startup's growth through strategic customer success, product development, and sales execution. In this multifaceted role, you'll wear many hats - from defining our customer success strategy and product roadmap to closing deals and building lasting client relationships. You'll be instrumental in shaping how we serve our customers while directly contributing to our revenue growth and market expansion.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end customer lifecycle from prospect to renewal and expansion
- Develop and execute customer success strategies that drive retention and growth
- Lead product strategy discussions and translate customer needs into product requirements
- Establish customer feedback loops and advocate for client needs internally
- Analyze customer data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and leadership teams
- Build scalable processes that will support future team growth
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a highly analytical, detail orientated environment (consulting, investment banking, PE, early stage start up)
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decisions
- Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities
- Experience working closely with product and engineering teams
- Comfortable in ambiguous, fast-paced startup environments
- Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently
- Passion for understanding customer problems and building solutions
Nice to have
- Early-stage startup experience (Series A or earlier)
- Experience in B2B SaaS or technology products
- Background in customer success or account management
- Technical aptitude and ability to discuss product features with engineers
- Experience building processes from scratch
